Who am I?
Hello! My name is Sage Lazaneo and I am a Certified Doula that was Denver, Colorado raised, but Lake Tahoe, California grown. I spent my childhood and adolescent years going to school in the beautiful city of Denver while spending my summers in the paradise of Lake Tahoe.
In 2010, at the age of sixteen, I finally settled down in Lake Tahoe and planted my roots there. It was during this time that I met and fell in love with the person who would become the catalyst for my doula journey.
Twelve years later and two kids down, while carrying my third and final child, I had the opportunity to spend a year back in Denver, where I decided to pursue my certification as a doula through Rocky Mountain Doula. It was an enriching experience, and I am thrilled to be back home in Tahoe, where I can establish my doula practice and serve the underserved communities in the region.
In addition to my work as a birth doula, I am currently undergoing training as an end-of-life (bereavement) doula. I believe in the importance of providing support and comfort to individuals not only as they enter this world but also as they transition to the next. This additional training allows me to offer holistic care and guidance during these deeply meaningful moments.
I whole-heartedly believe that everyone should have access to a doula. To make my services accessible to a diverse range of clients, my fees are on a sliding scale. This means that we can work together to find a pricing structure that suits your individual needs and financial situation. I want to ensure that cost is not a barrier to receiving the support you deserve.

I offer my services in Tahoe as well as Reno, Sacramento, Truckee, Carson City, Gardnerville and Minden, and smaller surrounding areas. If I am unable to provide services in an area, I will refer you out to another who is!
